Animated Poster
An animated poster I designed and illustrated myself as a university project, made for the Sydney Underground Film Festival held in Marrickville. I wanted to playfully explore their 2020 theme of 'Being Human' by showing an alien chilling and sunbathing on one of our serene, breezy beaches.
I took inspiration from the "Golden Age" of cinema- the 1930s- and emulated the visual qualities of the vintage greeting cards of this time period in my own poster. These assets were then carried over to Adobe After Effects and animated.
